Athletes from 19 Arab countries will gather in Cairo to compete in 11 Paralympic sports at the first Arab multi-sport games dedicated to athletes with disabilities, organised by the Arab Sports Federation for Persons with Disabilities in cooperation with the Egyptian Paralympic Committee.

Egypt will host the first edition of the Arab Para Games from 17 to 26 January 2027 — the founding stage of a recurring Arab event that places para sport firmly on the map of the region’s major sporting events.
The Games aim to strengthen cooperation among Arab countries and open new competitive horizons for athletes and national teams, with the ambition that the Arab and African games will in future become qualifying stages for the Paralympic Games. They also coincide with Egypt’s preparations to host the 2027 African Games.
